In 2007, Joao comes to Switzerland with one single thing in mind: to become a DJ. He chooses his nickname of Jerry Joxx, based on his first name. He’s quickly identified for his amazing musical skills and surveys clubs in the French part of Switzerland, where he showed his abilities. His sets, combining vocal and tech house make the public’s interest growing.
In early 2012, Jerry wants to expand his horizons. He goes up a gear and, therefore, is able to cross the Swiss borders. Remaining humble, he transmits his passion and his hard energy during his sets at the Sundance festival, Touch the Air, Montreux Jazz and several other big events.
During this period, Jerry Joxx mix alongside the most famous international DJs. But in addition, he’s also a producer. His song « Music is color », featuring Mish, one of DJ Antoine’s singers, permits him to find his own way of production: a combination of voices and eletronic dutch.
This young Portuguese, who is one of the references in the Swiss Djaying, is really experiencing a growing success. Currently in studio, he’s endeavoring to remix and create multiple tracks, including a future collaboration with Djerem and Cosi, the voice of many songs of David Guetta. His dream to mix at WMC in Miami gets closer as his successes get more famous.

En 2007, Joao vient s’établir en Suisse avec une seule idée en tête : devenir DJ. Il choisi le pseudonyme de Jerry Joxx, en résonnance à son prénom. Très vite il se fait repérer pour ses prouesses musicales et arpente les clubs de Romandie où il fait ses preuves. Ses sets, un alliage de vocal et de tech house principalement éveillent l’attention du public.
Au début 2012, Jerry souhaite élargir ses horizons. Il passe à la vitesse supérieure et c’est logiquement qu’il s’exporte au delà des frontières helvétiques. En restant humble, il transmets sa passion et son énergie débordante lors de ses passages au Sundance festival, Touch the Air, Montreux Jazz et quantités d’autres événements majeurs.
Durant cette période, Jerry Joxx mixe aux côtés des plus grands Djs internationaux. Mais en plus d’écumer les lieux nocturnes, il est également producteur. Son morceau « Music is color » réalisé en featuring avec Mish, l’un des chanteurs de DJ Antoine, lui a permis de trouver sa voie dans la production : une alliance de vocal et d’électro dutch.
C’est un véritable élan de succès que vit actuellement ce jeune portuguais qui devient d’ailleurs l’une des références suisses en matière de Djaying. Actuellement en studio, il s’atèle à remixer et créer plusieurs tracks, notamment une future collaboration avec Djerem et Cosi, la voie de plusieurs chansons de David Guetta. Une chose se révèle inéluctable : son rêve de mixer au WMC à Miami se rapproche à grands pas !
