Many house music djs/artist claim hit status but not many have sold over 3 million records and counting.
The remake of his classic, "Break 4 Love", is still making a strong impact internationally. The David Vendetta mix set things off in Miami during the Winter Music Conference '06 when Roger Sanchez rocked the crowd with it at his Release Yourself party. DJ Romain, Moussa Clarke, and Booker T have joined the ride with their own mixes. It has been been licensed from Monster Bang Music (UK) for the world by DJ Center (France). With wider distribution along with a video and new mixes, whew, the love didn't stop in 2007! It's still available at all the premiere download spots.
"Africa In Your Veins" is another memorable single, although release in 2005, remixes has kept it in demand into 2006. It is now consider a Southern African classic.
Thompson has performed in all the major clubs in NYC from the Palladium, the Sound Factory, Limelight, Sound Factory Bar, to the Underground, Studio 54 and the Apollo Theater. He has toured Japan twice, regularly performs in England, Germany, Italy and makes regular appearances in Ibiza. He has worked with producers such as Marshall Jefferson, Joe T. Vannelli, Victor Simonelli, Tony Humphries, Justin Strauss, Lenny Fontana, Eric Kupper, Matthais Heilbronn, DJ Romain.

Keith avait un programme très productif ses dernières années qui lui a permis d’affirmer sa place dans l’histoire de la musique électronique, « Break For Love » le remix du track classique de 1988 a été un des singles les plus populaires de 2007. De Ibiza à Europe et les Etats Unies grâce au remix de David Vendetta le track est très apprécié dans tous les clubs mondiaux. Après avoir signé avec DJ CENTER RECORDS il atteint le top 20 dans plusieurs pays en Europe (numéro 1 dans certains) et représente un véritable anthem pour la nouvelle génération. Le clip vidéo est en rotation permanente au niveau international.
Beaucoup de Djs / artistes arrivent à s’affirmer mais ils ne sont pas nombreux à atteindre 3 million d’exemplaires vendus.
Thompson est le vocaliste principal du classique « Break For Love » de Raze en 1988 qui est repris dans le jeux vidéo à succès colossal Grand Theft Auto (San Andreas). En 1989 il signe avec Capitol records et réalise le track innovateur « Can’t Take It » qui ouvre le chemin pour d’autres expérimentations en terme de house.
Après avoir quitté EMI records en 1992, il crée son propre label – Label 10 et réalise le hit underground «The Rhythm Of Life»
Thompson s’est produit dans tous les majors clubs à New York tel que Palladium, Sound Factory, Limelight, Sound Factory Bar, mais également Underground, Studio 54 et Apollo Theater.
Il a fait des tournées au Japon, Corée de Sud, Suisse, Allemagne, Russie, plus souvent en Angleterre, Italie, ainsi qu’a Ibiza. Il a travaillé avec des producteurs tel que Marshall Jefferson, Joe T. Vannelli, Victor Simonelli, Tony Humphries, Eric Kupper, Lenny Fontana, Scott Wozniak, Phil Asher, Chris Hornbostel, Justin Strauss et beaucoup d’autres.
